About Dave...

Dave van Heuven studied finance/real estate at the University of Texas at Austin for three years. He then changed majors and received a B.A. in the Geography departments Urban Studies/Planning program. He has called Texas home for over 20 years-Austin for over ten. He is an avid downtown Austin enthusiast-living, working and playing in this wonderful city.

Dave embraces the new urbanist approach-higher density in the urban core can thwart everything from community disintegration to aesthetic purgatory. He loves downtown Austin and would like to show you why you should call it home. Dave serves on the Economic Development Committee of the Downtown Austin Alliance, is a member of the Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association and is vice-president of the Brazos Lofts Home-Owners Association. He is also active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Texas. In his spare time he runs and bikes on Austin's Town Lake, travels to major cities and enjoys Austin's downtown lifestyle. He hopes you will too. Dave also serves the greater central Austin area.
