About Karen...

Karen Kelly’s skills as a seasoned negotiator, marketer and communications specialist make her a natural in the real estate market. Karen was brokering her first deals within weeks of receiving her real estate license and her practice has continued to gain momentum and respect as she has represented buyers, sellers, leasors, leasees and developers all over Austin. She specializes in real estate in Austin’s burgeoning urban core and has become a familiar face in the Downtown Austin real estate scene.

Karen is actively involved with the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and was selected to be a part of RECA’s Leadership Development Council in 2007. Karen currently serves on the McCombs MBA Alumni Network Advisory Board, is the membership chair for the Austin Fine Arts Alliance and is a member of the Downtown Austin Alliance and Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association.

Karen holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from The University of Texas' McCombs School of Business. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Mathematics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In her free time, she has traveled to over 35 countries, is a self proclaimed wine connoisseur and attends First United Methodist Church in Downtown Austin.

Karen’s active involvement in the Austin community contribute to her knowledge and in-depth comprehension of the real estate market. In addition to working and playing in Downtown Austin, Karen has called Downtown Austin home for over five years. Karen’s passion and commitment to the city are obvious when you meet her. She is adept at listening to clients’ “wish lists” for their dream homes and to helping them find their perfect match.
